The UX and UI design behind a digital adventure into the depth of retail innovation.
A small overview of my work.
Lead the UX/UI design and development teams and launched Baneasa Shopping City's mobile app on iOS and Android. With over 25k active users in less than 1 year after launch, the CITY iLOVE app showed results right away and won numerous prizes in the fields of digital, emerging technology and innovation in retail like "2016 ICSC Solal Marketing Awards: Silver Award for EMERGING TECHNOLOGY, Berlin, Germany".
CITY iLOVE app transforms a regular shopping mall session into a smart digital experience. From rewarding clients for their purchases with personalized benefits to promoting brands' discounts and updates, the app is a must-have for every heavy-shopper.

BMW partenered with Life.ro for a special brand campaign: 100 years of lifestyle innovation.
Verdict is a popular Romanian fashion publication. With 70% mobile traffic, they needed a mobile-first approach for the web presence. The layout is optimized for big images and easy sharing of content.
Cancan is the romanian TMZ, the biggest gossip publication. With over 6M unique visitors every month, the challenge was to keep the bounce-rate low and grow the pageviews.

Together with Orlando Nicoara, Cristian Manafu and Andrei Petcu, built and launched Cofffre, a shopping assistant app.
Cofffre is a personal shopping assistant app, it helps users make better purchase decisions from more than 30 Romanian online stores. When integrated with Cofffre, the stores grow the retention and conversion rate by 10%.

FLAPS was a travel deals website, the concept was simple: 3 new travel deals everyday, similar to the early JetSetter. We built the platform from scratch and partnered with Aerotravel Lufthansa and TUI Travel Center.
Even if the concept was simple, the integration part had a lot of challenges because we had to get real-time the offer availability and pay in order to book. Travel is a complex business!

Adcaptcher was an innovative advertising platform at that time, we built the technology to embed ads in captchas. The ideea came to me when I was designing a sign-up form. This was before Facebook Login and other profile ID solutions. You can read a full review here.
